DIOGO RUSTOFF

Diogo Rustoff is a Brazilian artist who draws inspiration from many sources; Punk, comic books, and more profoundly the environment in which he lives.

These influences are layered into the memorable pieces of art that he produces which have been exhibited in Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina.

Diogo draws heavily from his experience with the agriculture industry in Goiânia, Brazil where he lives. In Goiânia, the supply of agricultural equipment and fertilizer is the main economic activity, the symbols of which are pervasive in both the urban and rural landscapes. In response, Diogo uses repurposed materials like jute and metal in his art.

In his collection for THE GRAPA, Diogo Rustoff explores the relationship between citizens and the state, and between people and the agro-industrial environment.
